Whatever brings you, I follow.
I watch how you move together. How you laugh when something catches you off guard. How you reach for each other without thinking. I photograph that — not the version of you that performs for a camera, but the version that exists when no one is asking you to smile.
You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to prepare anything. The only thing I ask is that you forget I'm there.

We meet at the location. You arrive as yourselves — no preparation needed, no outfit panic, no posing instructions. We walk. We talk. I stay close enough to catch what happens and far enough that you forget I'm there.
The first ten minutes might feel slightly strange. That's normal. By the end of the hour, most couples tell me they forgot they were being photographed at all.
That's when the real photographs happen.

WHERE
I've lived in Barcelona since the 90s. I know which streets have the best light at 6pm, which squares are empty on Sunday mornings, which corners no tourist ever finds.
That's the difference between a photographer who works here and one who lives here.
Medieval light, no two streets the same.
Stone archways, narrow alleys, courtyards that open without warning. The Gothic Quarter is the most photogenic neighborhood in the city — and the most demanding. Crowds fill the main passages by mid-morning. I know the quiet corridors that run parallel. The ones that look nothing like a postcard and feel everything like Barcelona.
Best time: early morning or golden hour. I recommend 7–9am in summer.

HIDDEN VIEWPOINT

A former Civil War lookout turned into the best viewpoint the city has. Not on most tourist maps. Not crowded at dawn. The whole Barcelona skyline, the sea in the distance, and light that comes from everywhere at once. I live nearby in Horta-Guinardó. I know this hill at every hour.

Historic enough to feel timeless, alive enough to feel real. El Born has laundry hanging from balconies, espresso bars that have been there since before you were born, and walls that catch light in a way that makes everything look deliberate. It moves at its own pace. Documentary photography moves with it.

The Barcelona tourists haven't found yet.
Gràcia feels like a village that got absorbed into a city and never quite accepted it. Small squares, neighbors who actually know each other, independent shops with handwritten signs. If you want photos that look like your life — not like a travel brochure — this is the neighborhood.
Perfect for families and couples who want something away from tourist circuits.

No. I don't direct poses — I document what's already there. If you're worried about not knowing what to do with your hands, that's exactly the kind of person this is designed for.

Early morning or golden hour — roughly one hour before sunset. The city is quieter, the light is softer, and the photographs look completely different from anything shot at midday. I'll always recommend a time based on your location and the season.
